How To Change Your Money Story For A Bright Future

Christy: So today I want to talk about how to change your money story for a brighter future.

Christy: Normally in every startup there’s three parts. There’s the beginning, the middle and the end. So you want to start off your story with, “My life is so amazing.” This is the part where you want to talk about where you are today. Then in the middle part you want to talk about . . . or you want to start off your story with, “My life wasn’t always this way.” This would be the part where things weren’t going your way. So you want add that story in there.
Then on the third part, you want to start your paragraph with, “It wasn’t until . . .” This is your transition. So this is your transition from where you were before to where you are now.
For example, my life is so amazing because I have the luxury to choose how many hours of day I want to work. And I can [inaudible 00:01:25] make believe holidays and leave on vacations whenever I want to, and however long I want to. I also have the financial freedom to live the life of my dreams because I am in position of my own economy, and I am in control of it.
Also most importantly, I spend more time viewing my thoughts through prayer and meditation, and feeling positive and creating a shield to protect me from negative energy.
But my life wasn’t always this way. Now, this is my second part of the story. Growing up as a kid, money wasn’t always good in my house. It was always an issue. My mother, she was always obsessed about financial security. My dad, he gambled my college fund away, and also as my sister’s. So I always blame my parents for my financial situation. It also led me to have a lack of confidence, to make poor decisions in every area of my life.
So looking back, I know now that my problem is my limiting beliefs that I formed in response to challenges and painful experiences that I had growing up.
Now the third part in my story, it wasn’t always this way. I changed my money story and I feel confident about the financial decisions that I make today.
So, rich or poor, we all have money stories. And the trick in turning things around is to be aware of it, and to change it for the better. So that way you can remove all your money blocks.
