Mike: Hey, it’s Mike Hambright from FlipNerd.com and we have a quick VIP tip to share with you from Brian Meara who’s going to share a tip on the importance of having a bat phone.
Brian: You want to have a bat phone guys. You want to have a phone that only a dozen, two dozen, maybe three dozen people have. Give it to your parents, give it to your kids, give it to your wife, give it to your husband, give it to your best friends, but not many people outside of that and when you are going to call it a work day, you want to work till 5, 6:00? Fine, but whatever time you pick, you shut off that phone, you switch phones, you turn one off, turn the other one on. So nights and weekends you can’t work and don’t put your email on that phone, don’t even create me accounts.
That’s going to be tough, huh? You want to learn how to really unplug. You want to learn how to really get away from your work if you can. That’s the way to do it. I did that and changed my life and like I said before, contrary to me thinking that it was going to cost me business by demanding that people respect my time, they immediately did and I actually became more productive.
