Mike: Hey, it’s Mike Hambright from FlipNerd.com, and we have a quick VIP tip to share with you. Jason Burke, of the Las Vegas Real Estate Insiders Club, who’s going to share an awesome tip on how to build your power team of contractors and professionals to help your business.

Jason: Well, one of the things when you’re building your power team is you want to have three deep on your power team list. Every professional, every contractor, attorneys, CPA, brokers, escrow officers. The reason you want to have that is not because everyone will come through for you all the time. There are times when you won’t get a hold of people. There are times when people are busy. There will be times when people will flake on you. You want to have a backup plan to make sure that your real estate transactions go good. You want to take the time to interview these people and get to know them first before you put them on your power team list to see if they fit for what you’re trying to do. Just the importance of having that list, whether you’re a novice investor or an experienced investor. Sometimes we all fall in the trap of having one guy we love, and then when that person burns us, we’re kind of stuck. It’s really important to have that list and that backup plan. Doing that helps you get more transactions done. You develop a long time relationship with your vendor professionals. That’s a really important part of investing. It’s just as important as finding an investment opportunity, of finding the private money. So if you don’t have the infrastructure to make the transaction happen, all that is for naught, basically. That would be the tip I would have, is make sure you get your power team of vendor professionals lined up besides actually getting your buyers and your wholesale deals. That’s the tip I’d give out to people.
