Mike: Hey, it’s Mike Hambright from FlipNerd.com and we have a quick VIP tip to share with you from my friend, Fernando Ornilez, [SP] who’s going to share a tip on how to build your real estate network.

Fernando: I’m going to share a quick tip with everybody here that’s brought me a ton of referrals. It’s a one-liner. It’s quick. It’s simple. This is what I’ve used in the past to build my network. Whether it be a partner, an investor, just another referral, a private lender and it’s worked magic for my business. When you’re out networking whether it be your local REI, an entrepreneurial meeting, whether you’re in Chamber of Commerce, anywhere that you go and you promote your business and what you do. If you’re having a conversation and that person is not a good fit for your business, this question has brought me a ton, a ton of great relationships. It is the following: let them ask them based on what you know about me and my business. Is there anybody that you know that I should know? I tell you guys, that question alone, they’ll sit back, they’ll think about it. They’ll say, “You know what? Yeah. You should talk to my friend or my uncle or my business partner,” or anybody that they know. Because remember, guys, you’re always one relationship away from your business exploding. Always keep that in mind when you go out there.
