One of the things I think that’s interesting as people look at the variety of classifications in real estate, typically the individual investor will focus on single family homes, duplexes, maybe in small apartment complexes. One of the things I’d like to encourage you to take a look at as well is vacation rental real estate. We have some of the greatest vacation destinations throughout North America, and there are so many great opportunities. The space has come alive.

Consumer awareness of vacation rentals has risen from the mid to upper teens over the last 5 to 7 years to now the mid 30%, 35, 36% consumer awareness. So people are looking for vacation rentals. We’re seeing increasing numbers of people. We’re seeing multi-generational vacations taking place, all of these dynamics. People are seeking alternative forms of hospitality when they vacation. Why not own a piece of that market through a vacation rental?
