Mike: Hey it’s Mike Hambright from FlipNerd.com and we have a quick VIP tip to share with you from JP Moses who’s going to share a really unique tip on how to send broadcast messages to your investors or your cash buyers. But it goes directly into their voicemail box.
JP: VIP tip? Does that mean I’m a VIP? I got to [inaudible 00:00:25].
Mike: You are very important to me.
JP: Nice. Nice.
Mike: To me.
JP: Name badge. Yeah so in our wholesaling business we love to use technology as much as we can to give us shortcuts on getting from point A to point B. And one of the things obviously in the wholesaling business that is critical when you have a deal is getting that deal out efficiently, effectively, and in a timely fashion to your cash buyers list. So most people know by default you’re going to send an e-mail out hopefully. A lot of people will send a text message blast. One of the things that we really enjoy doing is sending, like you said, a voicemail blast where it goes out to the entire buyers list but it’s a voice blast that never actually goes to their phone. It just goes right to their voicemail.
Any why would you want to do that? Because I don’t know about you but when I get one of those, what do they call them, robo-calls I guess? When I get one and I hear, inevitably there’s that long pause and then you hear the hiss and then you hear somebody start to talk and then I go, “Sorry I just threw up a little in my mouth,” because I hate robo-calls. So there’s that yucky feeling. And you don’t want to give people that. You don’t want to give your cash buyers that. These guys are gold in your business. You don’t want to make them feel that way. But you want to be efficient and effective in getting that information out.
So you use slybroadcast.com and what slybroadcast lets you do is exactly that. You record your message. And you can do that over your phone or you can upload an mp3 file and here’s what it would look like in real time, okay? Let’s say, Mike, you’re on my cash buyers list. Suddenly you look at your phone and go, “Man I got a voicemail from somebody. I don’t remember my phone ringing. What the what?” You listen to it and you hear, “Hey. This is JP. I’m sorry I missed you but I just wanted to let you know about this deal on 123 Main Street. It is ARV 50,000 and we’ve got this under contract for 14,000. If you’re interested, could you just hit me back, just let me know? I don’t want to waste your time if you’re not. Thanks.” That sounds like a personal voicemail. Like I called you and somehow you just didn’t notice or it missed ringing.
Mike: Yep.
JP: Huge benefit. We have been using that and we’ve been using it for about the last three months and it’s been a phenomenal resource for us.
